Astropis

As an Editor and Author, I regularly write about astronomical observations and news, or popularise my own research for the Czech audience. I also interviewed several famous physicists for Astropis:

Czech astronaut Aleš Svoboda, and ESA astronauts Paolo Nespoli and Matthias Maurer

O zmizelé hvězdě (Star that disappeared), Aventinum, 2024

Can a star just disappear from the sky? Well, my own fairy tale, inspired by the research work I did in 2020–21, will answer this and also take you on a journey through the constellation of Orion. I'd like to say more but don't want to spoil it!

Perseus a Andromeda (Perseus and Andromeda), Aventinum, 2025

The first part of the book tells the classic myth about Perseus, Andromeda and Medusa and others. The second part of the book will guide you through the night sky to see all constellations central to this story, show you how the ancient Greeks viewed the world and where Perseus travelled.
