The main topic of the conference will be the presentation of scientific research activities of young astronomers in various areas of space research. In particular, university students of all levels are invited to the conference to present the results of their research achieved not only during the preparation of their theses. In addition to presentations, participants can also discuss the possibilities of mutual cooperation in the field of astronomical research in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, and Poland.
The meeting of students of astronomy and astrophysics studying at Czech, Slovak, and Polish universities will take place the whole day of April 19th, 2024 in Hvězdárna a planetárium Hradec Králové. The meeting will be a part of the general assembly of the Czech Astronomical Society. The meeting will be followed by a social dinner attended also by senior participants, thus there will be an opportunity for various interactions and discussions. After the meeting, registered students may stay for Saturday and Sunday and attend the other programme of the general assembly (for an extended fee), which will include several talks given by professional astronomers. Please note that the official meeting language for Saturday and Sunday is Czech.

In the case you are staying in the hostel Academic, please note that there is a road construction place in the immediate vicinity, which induced temporary changes in the public-transport system. From the public-transport terminal (Terminál HD), which is next to both the train station and bus terminal, you can take lines going to stops Heyrovského and Zimní stadion. The stops are slightly relocated with respect to their original position and do not be surprised that the public-transport lines take a detour. For orientation, see the map below.
